August Open Day | Design Innovation Institute Shanghai

Since this spring, Design Innovation Institute Shanghai has officially settled into the renovated former Lester Institute of Technical Education and has held monthly public open days, receiving enthusiastic response from the public. To express our gratitude for your attention and support, DIIS will once again open its doors to the public this coming Saturday, August 19th, inviting you to join us in experiencing the summer ambiance of a historic building and the vibrant vitality of design innovation.

August 19th also marks World Humanitarian Day, reminding us once again of the importance and agency of human-centric design towards building a better world.

We will provide a guided tour to facilitate your experience of DIIS and the stories behind the historical Lester building. You will have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in a combination of heritage architecture and frontier design and technology.
